New Capabilities

Convert Agent: A Personal Follow-Up for Every Registrant
After your event, the Convert agent drafts a follow-up for every attendee and no-show. Each note is based on what that person actually engaged with: the questions they asked, the sessions they watched and the pages they visited.

  • Your voice. Set a standing brief for your company, or for each agent, that defines tone and what to point people to.
  • Any audience. Target attendees, no-shows or any segment, and see the recipient count up front.
  • Series and summits. Series follow up per session, and summits follow up once for the whole summit.
  • Your brand. Emails use your template and verified sender, and your footer and unsubscribe link stay in place.

Repurpose Agent: Every Recording, Turned Into Content
After your event, the Repurpose agent turns the recording into ready-to-use content:

  • social clips in the formats you choose, with clean captions and your Brand Kit applied
  • a polished transcript with filler words removed, names and terms corrected, and speakers labeled
  • drafts for a blog post, LinkedIn post, newsletter or community post

Everything is saved to your Media Hub.

Event Health Check Agent
This agent reviews your upcoming virtual and in-person events for setup gaps and flags them before you go live.

CRM Sync Monitor
This agent watches your CRM and MAP integrations and tells you when registrations or attendance don’t reach Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo or your other connected systems.

Analytics & Benchmark Reports
Get regular reports on your events and audience, including live versus on-demand conversion, attendance across every summit session, and benchmark comparisons.

Event-Aware Scheduling
Post-event agents start as soon as your event has ended and its data is ready. Events with no audience or no recording are skipped automatically.

Approvals: You Stay in Control
Anything that sends an email or changes an event comes to you for approval first. In a single view you can review a batch, edit it, exclude recipients and approve. Pending approvals stay open for 72 hours.

Notifications in Sequel, Slack or Email
Connect Slack once for your company, then choose a channel for each agent. Approval requests and reports can also arrive by email. Agents only notify you on the channels your admin has turned on.

Built on Your Brand and Company Knowledge
Agents use your Brand Kit, found under Brand in the navigation, along with your company glossary on every run. When you correct an agent, it remembers the correction for next time.

Role-Based Access
Agents follow the same role permissions as the rest of Sequel. Event managers can create, run and approve agents for the events they manage.

Sequel AI Across Every Event Tab
Sequel AI and your agents can read and update every event tab, including:

  • registration forms and CRM picklists
  • event details and CRM settings
  • certifications and widgets
  • summit session options

The Sequel MCP: Run Sequel From Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor
Connect Sequel to your AI assistant once and sign in with your Sequel login. From there you can:

  • create, clone and edit events, series and summits
  • repurpose recordings
  • build segments and localize events into other languages
  • check event performance and CRM health
  • set up and run agents

Your assistant only gets the access your Sequel role allows, and anything destructive asks for your confirmation first. Email sending stays inside Sequel.

Enhancements

Smarter CMS Syncs (Sanity, Contentful, Webflow)

  • Event types: choose a CMS event type for each event, for example a separate page type for in-person events or a webinar series.
  • Private sessions: private series and summit sessions stay out of your CMS.
  • Registration links: the page address your CMS creates is written back into the event’s registration link automatically.
  • More fields: Time Zone, Speakers, Replay Enabled, Parent Event ID, Event Kind and Registration URL can now be mapped.
  • Contentful: entries are archived instead of deleted when you remove an event, and Sequel keeps your Contentful entries in sync even if one is removed on the Contentful side.

Faster Salesforce Syncs
Salesforce now syncs registrations, attendance, lead scores and engagement summaries in bulk, so large events reach your CRM much faster.

Smarter CRM Matching & Status Handling

  • Converted leads: registrants whose Lead was converted in Salesforce are matched to their Contact.
  • Summit sessions: summit sessions inherit CRM statuses from the parent summit, keeping Salesforce and Marketo campaign statuses consistent.
  • Cross-event registrations: registrations from cross-event registration sync to Marketo and appear in your CRM logs.
  • HubSpot dropdowns: HubSpot dropdown fields in Sequel stay in sync with the options you have in HubSpot, including archived ones.

More Data in Your CRM & MAP

  • Survey questions: survey responses arrive in Salesforce with the full question text.
  • HubSpot: custom activities now include the event date, and join codes are pushed to HubSpot so they can be used in reminders.
  • HubSpot series: event series sessions get their own “Sync to HubSpot” button.
  • Custom integrations: each contact and event now has a stable unique ID.
  • Webhooks: Custom CMS, WordPress and Drupal webhooks now include the parent event ID.

Attended On-Demand Status
A new toggle in your CRM settings sends “Attended On-Demand” instead of “No-Show” for people who watched the replay.

Custom URL Parameters
Capture any URL parameter at registration, not just standard UTMs. You can map it to your CRM and report on it, and the full query string is passed to every integration.

Custom Email Audiences
Custom email audiences now match the exact registration statuses Sequel sends to your CRM, so you know precisely who will receive each email.

Event Series Improvements

  • Replay links: copy a replay link or embed code from any session in the admin.
  • Finished series: when every session has ended, the series embed opens the last session’s replay.
  • Single-session series: registrants are told if they’re already registered for another session.
  • Private by default: cloned sessions now start as private.
  • Unsubscribe links: series emails now include an unsubscribe link.

Summit-Wide Blocking & Smarter Redirects
Blocking someone on a summit now blocks them from every session, and only organizers can block. Summit redirects skip sessions that have already ended, and a past session opened from an events grid plays its replay.

Embed URL Check
The embed status badge now has a “Check now” button and explains any problems it finds, including with URLs set through the API.

Simulive Video Readiness
Every simulive video is checked and prepared for streaming before your event. The admin shows whether each video is ready, and you’ll get an alert 30 minutes before start if one isn’t.

Easier Rescheduling Communication

  • Resend confirmations: resend confirmations in one step after rescheduling an event.
  • Location changes: changing an event’s location re-sends confirmations automatically.
  • Custom emails: custom emails always reflect the latest session time.

Session Activity Data
Join and leave times for each attendee are now available in the public user-activity API and the Certifications CSV export.

Recording & Stage Options

  • Screen-share recording: a new option records screen shares locally in high quality.
  • Speaker positioning: a new account-level setting controls active speaker positioning.
  • Automated chat messages: choose which host your automated chat messages come from.

Registration Forms & Emails

  • Searchable dropdowns: questions with more than 10 options now show as a searchable dropdown.
  • Longer labels: question labels can be up to 325 characters.
  • Multi-event registration: the multi-event registration widget supports privacy and terms checkboxes.
  • Test emails: test emails can be sent to additional teammates.
New Capabilities

In-Person Event Suite: Ticketing, Badge Printing & Check-In
Run your field events end to end in Sequel:

  • Ticketing: create ticket types like General Admission, VIP and Early Bird. Tickets can be free or paid through your own Stripe account, with bulk coupon upload, emails tailored to each ticket type, and a revenue view.
  • Badge printing: design badges in Sequel, with custom text, colors by attendee type, double-sided layouts and lanyard printing. Print from the participants table, in bulk, or instantly for walk-ins.
  • Check-in: the new scanner link opens on a host’s phone from a QR code. It shows each person’s registration status and stops anyone who isn’t approved, like waitlisted registrants, from being checked in.
  • Multi-day events: in-person events now use a start date and an end date.

Extended Registration Statuses
Sequel now tracks invited, waitlisted, approved, cancelled, attended and no-show. These statuses sync to Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot and custom integrations. Registrants can also fully cancel their registration.

Recurring Series Sessions
Series can now repeat the way calendar events do. Set patterns like “the second Tuesday of every month,” weekday or yearly schedules, and see a preview of the next dates before you save.

Summit Certificates
Issue certificates for the whole summit, for each session, or both. Each attendee gets a single email with all their certificates, and they can see their progress right in the embed.

“Up Next” for Summits
When a summit session ends early, attendees see the next session with a countdown, so they keep moving through your agenda.

Native Eloqua Integration
Sequel now connects to Oracle Eloqua directly. It syncs contacts, the event’s shared list, and a custom-object record per person per event that your Eloqua programs and campaigns can act on. You set up the mapping once for your whole company.

Native Pardot (Marketing Cloud) Integration
Pardot now runs on Sequel’s own native connector, with registration list syncs and bulk attendance updates. Setup uses a Sequel package installed in your Salesforce org.

Sanity CMS Integration
Connect Sanity in one click, map Sequel’s event fields onto your own Sanity schema, and keep your event pages in sync automatically.

Public API v3
Create and update events with every registration setting, register attendees, list registrants, and create series sessions through the API. Full public documentation is now available.

Data Export to S3
Send your Sequel event and engagement data straight to your own Amazon S3 bucket on a schedule.

6sense, Bynder and Clay
Import 6sense segments and intent data and enrich your leads. Push the clips you make in Sequel straight into Bynder. Sequel is also now available on the Clay marketplace.

Removals & Fixes

One Native Connection for Every CRM & MAP
Salesforce, Marketo, HubSpot, Pardot and Eloqua now all run on Sequel’s own native connectors, with no third-party middleware in between. If you haven’t reconnected your integration yet, you’ll see a prompt in the Marketplace. It only takes a minute.

Pardot Renamed
“Account Engagement (Pardot)” is now listed as “Marketing Cloud (Pardot)” in the Marketplace, matching Salesforce’s current naming.

Enhancements

Unique Join Enforcement

A new account-level toggle lets you prevent join links from being shared. When enabled, each registrant's link is unique and can't be passed around — tightening access control and giving you cleaner, more accurate attendance data.

Shared CRM Integrations Across Workspaces

By default, all workspaces under your account now share the same CRM integrations. Registration and attendance data collected in any workspace pushes to the CRM integrations connected at the parent-account level - ideal when all your workspaces represent the same business and should feed the same CRM, or the same webhook destinations.

Running a sandbox, test, or staging workspace? You can adjust this setting for that workspace so test data doesn't flow into your production CRM alongside real records.

New Capabilities

Sync to Sessions (Beta)
Configure once at the parent level and apply settings down to every child session across your Series and Summits. A new admin interface lets you push shared settings from a parent event to its sessions, so you no longer have to configure each one by hand.

Expanded HubSpot CRM Integration
Your HubSpot integration now carries far more of Sequel's engagement intelligence into the tools your team already uses:

  • Marketing-event sync keeps your HubSpot marketing events aligned with your Sequel events.
  • Push Sequel Score, AI-generated summaries, and recommended next steps directly onto HubSpot contacts, so sellers see who's engaged and what to do next without leaving HubSpot.
  • New Survey activity passed to the contact record.

Enhancements

Proactive Integration Monitoring & Alerting We've added monitoring across all integration paths, so our team is alerted the moment a sync issue arises and can act quickly - often before it ever reaches your events.
Clearer Marketo Error Handling Marketo connections now surface clear, actionable messages when Marketo is temporarily unreachable, with faster, more graceful timeout handling.
Embed Validator Improvements Better detection across more embed types (including shadow-DOM and externally injected embeds), clearer error messages (for example, when join parameters aren't being forwarded), support for URLs entered without an explicit scheme, and live progress updates while validation runs.
Multi-Select Fields Multi-select fields now include built-in search, faster filtering, a clear "no results" state, and smoother handling of long option lists.

New Capabilities

Custom Roles & Permissions Assign granular, role-based access across your team so the right people have the right level of control over your events and account.
Drupal CMS Integration Connect Sequel directly to your Drupal site with a configurable endpoint and authentication, plus a logs view so you can track sync activity end to end.
Improved Marketo & Salesforce Integration - Bulk Updates & CRM Logs A faster Marketo integration with bulk updates and detailed CRM logs. Syncing a 3,000-person event now takes minutes instead of hours.
HubSpot Campaigns Support The HubSpot integration now supports Campaigns.
Contentful CMS Integration Connect Sequel directly to your Contentful site to auto-create modules when a new event is created in Sequel.

Removals & Fixes

Summit On-Demand → CRM Fixed summit on-demand activity not pushing to your CRM in certain configurations.
Accurate Watch Time Corrected watch-time reporting in lead engagement so longer sessions report the full, accurate duration.
Contentful Description Rendering HTML in Contentful description fields now renders properly instead of showing raw markup.
Large & High-Traffic Event Reliability Performance and reliability improvements for large, high-concurrency events.
Simulive Reliability Improved reliability of simulive streaming, with automatic recovery if a stream doesn't start as expected.
